Cheerful Colour

I will never get tired

of photographing butterflies!

They are so vivid,

and carefree...

the way I'm sure a lot of us

would love to be!

Sass

Beautiful Friday afternoon!
The blackflies were
out in full force, but we still
managed to
get some pretty shots...

in between swats, and swarms.

Summertime Baby Bump

Bare feet.
White cotton,
and sunshine.

Soft breeze,
and puffy dandelions.
That pregnant glow is
unmistakable.
Fresh and beautiful!

Dusk

There is just
something about
the reflection of
the evening sky on
still water that is
very serene.
Perfect way to
end the day.

Apple Blossoms

Nothing more beautiful and fragrant than apple blossoms in spring. Such a wonderful sight after a long, cold winter.
If only the blooms would last a little bit longer before they start to lose their pretty petals...

Mr. Ti

Mr. Ti is one super cute little busy body!
Non stop energy, and eyelashes that go on forever!
Very hard to catch him sitting still, but, since when was healthy, active and inquisitive a bad thing?

The Frog

In our yard is a pond, and in the pond is a frog, and in the frog...is a fly. Good frog! Yet another reason I love spring/summer. Familiar sights and sounds bring back childhood memories. Catching slimy creatures, swatting flies and running around with bare feet. Bring on the warmth and sunshine!

Wee Roger

The only thing sweeter than the innocent glance of a child,
is capturing it without them noticing. As a parent, I want to remember my children the way they really were when they were little...not posed, not fake. Their real expressions, the ones that melt my heart.
Images I want to keep with me as they grow and change.

Dimples

"Yaiya" is usually shy, quiet and reserved, but it is not a surprise to see the odd little mischievous smile from time to time...

Rust, Dust and Splinters

Past is the past?
To me it is much more than that.
It is time and effort spent on
something that was a necessity,
somebody's lively hood.
Hard work and sweat...
and now,
just dilapidated and falling over.
Its almost sad how time moves on,
and the "old way of life" is
slowly forgotten.
I hope to bring some recognition to the
things that have shaped our past,
before they are gone.

Tuesday Afternoon

Bright sunlight,

cool breeze...

perfect afternoon

to be out in the

wonderful fresh air.

So inspiring,

and fun!
